AAUW in the Media

Has anyone seen the February issue of Cosmopolitan magazine?  On pages 158-161 a story entitled “The Debt Crisis No One is Talking About” details the troubles of women who have accumulated student loan debt for their degree(s).  An interesting article about why women may have more debt than men and how this debt may affect their career choices, relationships and major decisions, the article is also interesting because it cites AAUW research!

Catherine HIll, PhD, director of research at AAUW is quoted on multiple pages and the AAUW study on the pay gap is a point of reference.  What great publicity and a great time to mention our organization to young women who may be familiar with Cosmo but not with AAUW.
