Soup Swap

                             Can You Believe it????
                        AAUW’s Annual Soup Swap
                             Saturday, February 8
                                         11:30 – 1:00
You’ve done this before, or certainly heard about  it!  The fun begins at 11:30 am, when guests show up with a gallon of delicious homemade soup, chili or stew.  We’ll enjoy a taste of each for lunch and take some home for the freezer. This is a great time of the year to take it easy and stock up on quick, warming prepared meals.
FUN FACT: Started by Knox Gardner and a friend in Seattle, Soup Swap Day became an unofficial holiday celebrated all over the United States in 2006. Today, the holiday (officially the 3rd Saturday in January) is celebrated by soup enthusiasts in many other parts of the world.
REMINDER: Bring containers or freezer bags.
