The Maryland General Assembly convened on January 14th. Maryland Legislative Agenda for Women (MLAW) has shared its 2026 agenda which includes 10 proposed bills. The AAUW Maryland Public Policy committee is tracking these bills and two additional bills. All are related to women and protecting their rights and promoting their safety.
