Previously known as Maryland Lobby Days for AAUW, the committee sought a name distinctive from our National Lobby Corps, thus the new name.  For now, everything else remains the same.  Once a year during the Maryland General Assembly session, ALL Maryland AAUW members are invited to meet in Annapolis where we will call upon legislators whose support is needed to pass legislation from our agenda.

Office locations and key talking points will be provided to team members. Past advocacy days have seen teams of 2-4 members calling on 3-4 legislators with the goal of affirming our support for a specific piece of legislation,  while soliciting theirs.  This is a great opportunity to have engage in state policy making while meeting with fellow AAUW members from across Maryland.  If you would like to join us this year on Tuesday, February 19th, please rsvp to Caity Lovett: caityl@icloud.com
